Freeride APA: Alaskan Brewing Co
Drink this beer in the actual state of Alaska, preferably under the guise of Denali. Trust me, you’ll appreciate it more.
About Alaskan Brewing Company
Alaskan Brewing Company may seem like a standard beer because it’s regularly at the grocery store or on most tap handles, but head to Alaska to actually drink this beer – you’ll appreciate it more. The tap room in Juneau is a nice little stop where you can sample nearly everything they got, but go into any restaurant or bar along the Alaska Highway and you’ll find it poured out of any tap. Seriously – go to Alaska!
About Freeride American Pale Ale (APA)
The Freeride APA is a crisp Pale Ale that can only be described as thirst quenching. Typical of a floral, citrusy APA, I enjoyed this beautiful pint after hiking around Hatcher’s Pass in Alaska and then road-tripping the rest of the way to Talkeetna. Sitting on a sunny patio under the guise of Denali, I asked the server what would best commemorate the moment and this was her recommendation – and she was right on point. Best enjoyed in the actual state of Alaska where you can see this beer in all it’s home state glory. Just look at that glorious condensation on my pint glass…

Delicious beer to drink after a long day of hiking, kayaking, or anything outdoors - just as the residents of Alaska probably intended.
